I have such a problem with English-speaking people affecting their voices to “sound foreign” when they speak to people whose first language is not English. In America or elsewhere. Especially in a place where English is not the primary language. Why are you in Abu Dhabi talking to Emiratis, trying to “sound like an Emirati”? 

I’m also not here for English-speaking people recounting how “foreign people speak” by trying to use accents. Just speak in your regular voice.
